I'm creating some simple diagrams in Visio 2007 and it's driving me insane with all kinds of nuisances. Some are by design, others are just confusing. This question is about one where I'm trying to draw a rectangle on a sequence diagram. The rectangle appears to be snapping to some invisible lines when I try to position it. Depending on the size of the rectangle it will jump around to different random positions when I drop it after dragging. I can't position it where I want. If I try to use the arrow keys to move it, it moves pixel by pixel until it hits some invisible boundary and then jumps back farther away than where it started. Anyone know what's going on here?
A couple other problems, in case they are related are:
- I can't copy certain rectangles containing some text on one page. I get "Visio internal error: #-1 Action 1021: Copy". They were all copied and pasted from the same one originally.
- Copying and pasting a Cloud shape (or certain other shapes) causes the original Cloud shape on the page to reposition off of the page.
